Ministries Music Christ-honoring music and music "ministers" are central to worship at Valley Covenant Church. All groups meet regularly, minister in both worship services, and are open to new members. Praise Team - Adult / High School Coordinators - Paula Ravn, Yvonne Raymond & Audrey O'Sullivan This group consists of guitar, drums, keyboard/piano & vocals. On occasion we add trumpet or flute. We use the "Best of the Best" in Contempoary Christian Music Songbook. We also find modern songs and add in traditional Hymns from our Covenant Hymnal. Music is selected based on the theme of the sermon and the abilities of the musicians. We play/sing once a month. We practice on the Tuesday before the third Sunday of each month unless otherwise noted. Special Music Coordinator: Karin Ropp Special Music is offered during Prelude, Offertory or Special Occasions. We are always on the lookout for new talent! Duets, Solos, Small Ensembles of any type of vocals or instrumentals are welcome. Part Time Vocalists (those who are unable to commit to practicing with the Praise Team) may be paired up and given an opportunity to assist on a Sunday that the piano/organ is scheduled. These groups will set their own practice times with the piano player scheduled. Piano / Organ Scheduler: Mary Lyon Bread of Life Meeting the second and fourth Tuesday afternoons (3:30 - 5:00) at church, Bread of Life provides a meal, fellowship and spiritual encouragement to people from our area.
